26 september slowly
it's been a bit slow, getting back into the knitting, getting a new schedule set, finding the autumnal rhythm now that it is in fact autumn.
but today i finished the chunky jungle monkey. i don't have a picture that looks like anything yet, as it is horrible to photograph insides and inside is where i am, inside and in a poorly lit room.
it is very warm and a bit scratchy so i am going to wash it soon to see if the latter becomes less so. and i seem to have lost the three porcelain buttons i bought for it so i must make a concerted effort to locate those. i have 1 3/4 skeins left so some sort of accessory might be in order, if i think of one i want that is suitable for chunky weight tweed.
i've been working on the shawl as well, am about a third of the way through the second of three skeins. but as it looks remarkably like last month's picture, no new visuals.
