just keep knitting, just keep kntting...
it is my mantra of late; even if i do not have time for a lot of knitting, i need to make sure there is at least some knitting. and some knitting there has been. i did watch some of the olympics, but not as much as i had hoped, so not as much finishing as i had hoped. and as an aside, why doesn't the USA do better in winer sports? i think it is the lack of glamor, maybe.
the ironman scarf will not be done in time for winter weather this year, as the winter weather lasted for about a week. in december. it is so odd to see all the snow piling up in the midwest and east while we are all full of sunshine and drizzle. hopefully she will still love herself some marvel next year. if not, i'll wear it.
she decided she wanted the arms two-toned, with a bit of a flap as though the gold were overlapping the burgundy. okay then! that's what she got. now back to burgundy and figuring out the hood.
the never-ending socks are also a little closer to being ending, at least the first. just about ready to turn the heel...
