i've taken to carrying the shawl with me, in case i get a chunk of time here or there in which i can knit a row.
and sometimes, if the kid has a function, and its only going to be 90 minutes, instead of dropping her off and going home and then driving back to get her, i find a place to park, and just knit away.
that worked out really well this morning, many rows knit, many minutes passing. and by luck or unintentional design, i finished a pattern repeat just as it was time to go pick up sophia. i may need to encourage more of these functions...
04 may 2014 stitch by stitch, row by row
i've finally gotten the pattern memorized, for the most part.
this is not a difficult knot, and rather like the whole knitting around and around thing, but it is a time-consuming knit.
and time is in very short supply around here of late.
